Thank you for another wonderful pre-Christmas evening at Stanbrook. I and my friends enjoyed the performance immensely and felt that it was the best yet, but they have all been so good. Great choir, fantastic venue and such talented musicians. See you next year.

This is the first time I have been to a performance of this choir - I was persuaded by my wife! - and it was not was I was expecting. It was far, far, better! The venue was amazing, with wonderful acoustics and the choir was so powerful and harmonious, beatiful voices; perfect timing and expressively emotional. The musical director/conductor, Tom Wells, was homely and humorous, and involved the entire audience in the last half-hour. The string ensemble was as good as I have heard anywhere, tight and tuneful, so unlike the 'school orchestra' sound I was dreading and which one normally encounters at this sort of concert. The piano accompanist was truly sublime with never a note wrong and in duet with the cello provided a performance worthy of a world stage. The quality of the PA sound was particularly pleasing and the lighting .. oh boy, so well planned and appropriate, timed to perfection.

What more can I say? How to improve the concert? Don't change it - I doubt it could be better.

Well done by everyone involved. I'll be back again next year!

My first visit to this event and it was well worth the drive. Thank you so much for an entertaining evening in such a beautiful venue. The choir and orchestra were superb.
